The mast and arms are made from powder coated

aluminium that resists peeling and rusting. All joints are manufactured using stainless steel.

All of the Samara umbrellas open with a crank level operation. The central telescopic mast system is designed

to allow the umbrella to close above table height.

The Samara has various options including Valance, Wind Hood, Wind Roof.

Supports and Fittings

There are three choices of support fittings - an in-ground sleeve, a screw on stand or a mobile base.

The Samara Stainless steel ground sleeve is either 25cm or 50cm long and is encased in concrete at ground level. A small flap hides the support when not in use. The ground sleeve upper part is anchored in place in the lower part with a bayonet lock. There is also a screw on stand for anchoring onto concrete surfaces or strong timber planks. 

The portable bases are the sheet stand and sheet stand extra, (which are both slab filled), the fire galvanised steel plate and the Kiel Concrete stand with is available in

70kg or 110kg.

Canopy Fabric & Colours

Bright colours and a textile character make the acrylic marquee cloth the most attractive cover material for sun shades. It has proved to be one of the best and most durable materials for many years. The cloth remains attractive for a long time because the unique Cleanguard” waterproofing makes it particularly weatherproof. Even dirt and dust are largely repelled thanks to the specially

treated surface.

Heat & Lights

With the Samara we use Solamagic 1400watt Infrared heaters. With no start up phase, the heat is instant. The cost saving against gas heaters in approx 60% and approx 30% against conventional electric heaters. The heaters are protected against splash water and are weatherproof

There are two choices on lighting; the globe Summertime lights and the Naxos four lamp system. Both systems are easily removable from the mast as they are fitted via a clamping closure.

Guttering & Side Sheets

The gutters are manufactured to provide a fall to ensure good drainage and are attached to the umbrellas by means of snap hooks. They can be used to connect adjacent umbrellas or to connect an umbrella to a building.

It is strongly recommended that the umbrellas have valances fitted to the canopies if gutters are going to be used as the helps the flow of water into the guttering.

Side sheets are available for all sizes of square and rectangular umbrellas. These can come with or without  transparent window sections. Door sections can also be included that roll up when in use.

Printing

Printing is available on either the top of the umbrella

 or the valance or a combination of the two areas.
